Wow where did the last half of August go? I had two weeks or so where I hardly got any drawing done, between the ceilings being painted, houseguests, comic jams and comic shows. So I quit my job. I had been with the company for five and a half years I guess, and probably about two years too long. And so Manien and I are having our first actual Christmas holiday in years. It is pleasant and the future is full of possibilities.

Here is something I drew the day I quit, while watching Lost and drinking champagne.

Look at me, I am on the internet! I am back in Vancouver. I guess I haven't been away that long, but it feels like ages. I was at SPX in Washington DC (or rather Bethesda, or rather Rockville) for a couple of drunken days and nights, and then in Guelph visiting my family, and then in Toronto visiting people and my brother.
